First Post
I've decided to start a blog to keep people updated with my Etsy shop, what sorts of things I'm working on and what you can look forward to seeing in my shop soon in the future!
Also, this is a great place to talk about my ventures outside of the internet (ie: Craft Shows, Art Shows, etc...)
Recently I attended a Craft Show in Portage raising money for a new dog park. Being that it was the first craft show I've ever attended as a vendor it was, as my Mum put it, a learning experience! Although I don't think I will be attending shows held in County Fair buildings without heat... Thank goodness we brought a space heater and had free electricity!!! I think this show flopped, for the most part, because they recently had a flood issue (although on the opposite side of town), it was a more agricultural populace (which often enjoy looking at my products, but not purchasing), and of course the cooler weather with that wonderful chilly wind!
I do have to say that my Cake Stands were the most popular item! :)
